We had a very successful Family Hinduism classes program led by Swami Nikhilanand in April 1st week 2023. Everyone was amazed to learn and clarify the basics of Hinduism! Handouts and jeopardy quizzes made the knowledge sync in firmly. Kids always won playing the game against parents!!!

Diwali October 2022
The Radha Govind Dham Diwali 2022 celebration was filled with vibrant colors and luminous sparkles. A delirious joy filled the atmosphere as community spirit and spiritual bliss came together on this grand festival of “light over darkness”.
Our joyous Satsang had colorful Rangoli designs, melodious kirtan, devotional games & dancing, ending with sparkling fireworks.

On Sunday, June 12, 2022, we celebrated two joyous birthdays! One of our devotees turned 21 and another turned eight. We played an exciting game of Musical Chairs with Shree Maharajji's bhajans playing in the background, followed by sharing birthday cake prasad and dinner prasad.

We had a wonderful regional weekend intensive at Vraj Ashram in the mountains of Pennsylvania! Sushree Diwakari Devi and Swami Nikhilanand led the program. The weather was drizzly off and on, but seldom did it rain. Didiji and Swamiji gave inspiring discourses, and our talented devotees led wonderful kirtan. The retreat also featured Arti and Roop Dhyan, delicious vegetarian meals, Parikrama of Govardhan Hill, darshan of Shree Krishna in the spacious Shree Nath Ji Mandir, and Shlok recitation by our brave kids. A lively bonfire, garba/stick dance, games of cricket, frisbee, basketball, and much, much more rounded out the weekend. We hope to see you there next year!

On Saturday, April 18, we gathered at Claude Maude Park near Sterling VA. It was a pleasant Spring day with frisbee, cricket, hiking, Kirtan, Aarti & bhoog. We were even visited by friendly bumblebees!

Special Satsang in Loving Memory of Vishnu Bhaiya's 21st Birthday
Ram Navami - April 2022
On April 10th, 2022 all of the devotees at Radha Govind Dham DC joyfully celebrated the appearance of Lord Shri Ram. The celebrations started with sweet, melodious kirtans about Shri Ram Bal Leelas. The kirtans also depicted how Lord Ram and Krishna are one and the same. It is the same Ram who descended upon this Earth in the Treta Yug who went on to take the form of Shyam in the Dwapar Yug.
This was followed by the sacred Abhishek of Sita Ram by devotees of all ages, filled with love and reverence. The event concluded with Aarti and the offering of Bhog, lovingly prepared by the devotees, to Hari and Guru.

Holi, March 2022
On March 27, 2022, we celebrated a most joyous Holi playing Phoolon Ki Holi with Rose and Jasmine Petals! We danced to the beats of desi Dhol, sang joyful Holi Kirtans, watched the kids play dressed as Radha and Krishna, and ate delicious Holi Gujiya snacks.
Holi or the festival of colors is celebrated in India with a lot of fervor when everyone comes together to celebrate with the feeling of love and harmony. Such was the sentiment at this year’s Holi celebration at Radha Govind Dham – the atmosphere was filled with fun and frolic. Holi also marks the arrival of Spring and a fragrant shower of fresh roses and jasmine flowers mixed in with a vibrant rainbow of colors – Gulal created clouds of red, pink and yellow hues in the air. Adding to the joyful celebrations were the melodious Kirtans and the lovely devotional sentiments of many people present.

On Feburary 27, 2022, we celebrated our young devotees tenth birthday! A big thanks to all of the people who joined us!
Why are all these kids blinded folded with a mask? They all are looking for almighty Lord Krishna…………to pin a crown on His head.
Come to Radha Govind Dham to celebrate the birthday of your family member, either kid or an adult.
At Radha Govind Dham DC, we will celebrate birthdays at the end of Satsang.
So please bring your children who are celebrating birthdays. The birthday child can lead a chant if they like. And they and the family will do Arti.
After Arti, we will sing Happy Birthday, play some fun devotional games and cut the birthday cake!

Basant Panchami - Feb 2022
On February 6th, 2022 Basant Panchami was celebrated with much fervor at Radha Govind Dham.
This festival marks the onset of Spring in India and is celebrated throughout the country.
One could experience the rejuvenating spirit of Spring during the celebrations at Radha Govind Dham. The kirtans sung by the chanters were so energizing, absorbing and easily created beautiful Roop Dhyan (meditation) for everyone. One could easily visualize the yellow color fields of mustard and marigold flowers. Shri Kripaluji Maharaji’s speech video was very inspiring and motivated everyone towards Bhakti Sadhana. His divine grace was felt by everyone. Finally, the dinner prasad was finger licking good. With pooris so soft to flavorful tangy cucumber pickle all flavor profiles were represented many in the color of Basant, yellow! The celebrations were beautiful and thoroughly enjoyed by all. The color yellow fills all our hearts and brings renewed hope for a devotional present and devotional future in remembrance of Hari and Guru.
